Fees ~ Making it Possible

The basic 5 day/4 night package (including pre-travel consultation to plan the trip, in-country specified transportation, 4 nights hotel, 4 breakfasts, Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration & fiesta with party favors) is $1800 per person.  There is no limit to how many family and friends can travel.   With groups of 10 or more, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah participant is free.     

Fees for preparing the student and for planning the Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony are separate from the Birthland Bar Mitzvah fee and are based on a pro-rated scale of $140 per hourly session, paid in advance by check when each session is scheduled. There is some financial aid available for the preparation part of this process. 

Travel costs to and from Guatemala are separate from the Birthland Bar Mitzvah fee. When we have confirmed dates and you have booked your plane tickets, payment is due in full within the week. No further reservations can be made for your Guatemalan experience until payment is received in full.

We can arrange for additional services such as an open bar at your fiesta, photography and videography, a band and extra flowers if you are interested.

GRTA reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary if it is in the best interest of those traveling due to unforeseen circumstances. Your deposit represents your agreement to this statement and to our cancellation policy. 

Participants are advised, and strongly encouraged, to purchase travel insurance to cover any non-refundable costs.
